Oops this photo is upside down. It is a picture taken in the 70's when they built the Memorial bridge over the Missouri river to replace the old combination bridge and my pic shows both bridges -I have an 8 x 10 of this bridge and know of no other like it. This was a four lane bridge while the old one was two lane and required a toll. Helen has a story of crossing the river when it was iced over to avoid paying the 15 cent toll.

To delete a post, go to blogger.com and type in your user name and password, then click "new post" and then at the top click "edit posts". It will have a list of your latest posts and you find the one you want to delete and click "delete" then you will have to confirm it. Good luck.

I think before I delete this pic of the bridges I had better find out why I am having trouble posting photos.
I'd like to hear the whole story about Grandma crossing the icy river:)
