Not really sure when this photo was taken - pretty sure it was in Ponca though.

Taken from the southwesr corner. My roses are budding - my tulips are up about six inches and buds are showing on the three fruit trees I planted last year - may even have a handful of cherries this summer.

I have waited as long as an hour for a photo to appear and then it shows "error" these shots were from Diane's camera and came up within 10 or 15 seconds - both have .jpg's so why are the ones from the camera coming on every time and fast??? Wish I knew.

Taken in Acapulco - on a short boat cruise aroumd the bay - don't ask me the year !

This was taken at Acupulco when I went parasailing - took my camera up with me. They took me over the bay and over part of the town. Cost $8.00 - Fun !!

Our neighbor is giving up - as you can see he has a backhoe taking out all his fruit trees and burning them - how many? I do not know but at least 100 I would think - how those green branches will burn I can't figure out but they are burning.

If I have the right photo and I think I do - this was taken in Branson, Mo when we went on a tour there. That place is loaded with entertainment mostly the country singing variety. Helen and I met and talked to the parents of those Mormon singers (name ?) got a mental block right now - we went to a number of shows - if you are ever near that area go see it - you won't be sorry.

Thiis was taken probably in Carson City, Nev and also is probably on their wedding day. Don't they look so young!!

As I recall - I was on boot leave and this photo was taken close to where my folks lived in San Francisco - Helen stayed with them and Tom and Diane were in Nebraska. While the photo is a little on the dark side I still had a pretty good tan. Date probably January 1943.

Scary !!

I bought this elephant in Bankok, Thiailand- cost $5.00 but probably large amount in Thai money because the taxi fare from the airport - several miles - to our hotel amounted to five cents in our money so they had a high rate of exchange. I carried the elephant all over te orient - too heavy to go in a suitcase. weighs 14 pounds - made from teak wood. I think the Thais thought they really took me on the cost.

This was taken long before we moved in and in fact before the house was installed permanetly - no garage yet. probably in early 2001.

OK I will try to find a late photo of the place & post it.

Do you remember this photo Diane? It was just before we hiked and hiked -how many miles - down the mountain at Yellowstone - even in the dark - part of it - Helen frantically searching for us.

It is beginning to look more and more that I need a digital camera if I intend putting any photos on my blog - Diane loaned me her camera for today - I am finding taking pictures of pictures (like this one) depends on the picture.

This is my live in female - Diane and I put it on my computer from her camera and we then put it on my blog - got the pix from my desktop.

I think I successfully posted a photo on my blog - it shows Mark & Sonjas boys besides a sign that says Snowville - taken when they came and visited me - last year? or year before? can't remember for sure. Didn't do anything different in uploading the pix -so why don't the others get on?

I joined a blogger group and learned many others have trouble uploading photos.

Will this one go?

I was 899 when this picture was taken - in July just before my 90th birthday - I was on my way into where the others were waiting. Think I got it up to 52 mph as I recall.

Have had difficulty with tomanddottysblog so changed it to dottyandtomsblog - when I clicked on the last name the first name blog came up. Weird.
